WiFi Connectivity for Sabah Ammonia Urea Project (SAMUR)

Who We Do

Enterprise WIFI Solutions for SAMUR Project

The Sabah Ammonia Urea Project (SAMUR) is a significant industrial endeavor under Petronas Chemical Group Berhad, aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s foothold in the global fertilizer market. Located in the Sipitang Industrial Park in Sabah, Malaysia, the SAMUR Project spans 166 acres and includes a state-of-the-art fertilizer production plant with an impressive urea production capacity of 1.2 million metric tons per annum (mmtpa). This large-scale production capability is set to meet both domestic and international demands, underscoring the project’s role in driving agricultural development and sustainability.

To support the extensive operations at this facility, Nusuara Technologies Sdn Bhd has been entrusted with deploying a robust, enterprise-grade WiFi infrastructure. This infrastructure will offer seamless internet connectivity across both indoor and outdoor locations within the plant. Providing continuous connectivity in such a demanding industrial environment requires a highly reliable network, ensuring that essential communications, monitoring systems, and operational data transfers remain uninterrupted. The project will leverage advanced WiFi technologies to ensure optimal coverage and performance, with resilient access points strategically positioned to withstand environmental factors typical of large industrial sites.

This enterprise-grade solution is expected to enhance operational efficiency, facilitating real-time communication across the sprawling plant and contributing to the overall safety and productivity of SAMUR’s operations.
